Setting the Pace for the Industry...

Before a single piece of technology is purchased or deployed by TeleRep, there must be a goal.

At the end of the day, what are we trying to accomplish?

Simply put, TeleRep’s goal is to electronically enhance the selling process, not replace the process with electronic selling. TeleRep does this by offering comprehensive services that are of the highest possible quality and continually improving these systems to ensure timeliness and value.

We implement technology to increase efficiency while tailoring our services to the special needs of each of our client stations. We are a national sales representative, not a technology company, and we have no intention of wasting time, money and resources on technology that does not enhance the selling process.

Our mission is sales and we intend to continue to sell aggressively, seizing every opportunity to maximize revenue for our station clients.

Overall system direction is determined by focusing on fundamental departmental imperatives:

I. Support TeleRep's Business Goals
II. Offer Valuable Systems and Services to Station Clients
III. Offer Value to Agency Customers

This is achieved by closely monitoring the "sales process" with constant interaction with TeleRep sales management and account executives as well as station clients.

TeleRep's industry-leading information systems include a growing array of powerful applications, network servers, host systems, laptop and desktop computers and peripherals. This enables TeleRep personnel to operate with maximum efficiency.

These state-of-the-art resources constitute the latest in a long line of technological innovations that have kept TeleRep on the cutting edge since the days when reports and records were generated manually.

Going Forward

TeleRep is constantly looking to the future. As an apparent need arises and the the technology becomes available, TeleRep continues to improve the "look and feel" of our provided software as well as adapt the software to meet new challenges.

The successful result of TeleRep's efforts is illustrated with a simple head-count since 95% of TeleRep's client stations are on-line with our data network. This exceeds our competition that, at most, can boast between 40% and 60% of their stations on-line.

For all of these reasons, TeleRep's Information and Technology Department remains the best in the business.

As Vice President and Director of Information Services, Kerry Boehme heads a department boasting a wealth of expertise and experience.

The TeleRep Information and Technology department is divided into two primary disciplines:

The MediaLine Support Group
The Information Technology Support Group

The MediaLine Support Group focuses primarily on the ongoing Station and TeleRep office MediaLine system training and general office procedures. Additionally, they provide assistance if necessary to the MediaLine users in their daily interaction with the system resulting in a streamlined & efficient data pipeline between the stations & the rep.

The Information Technology Support Group focuses on the "mechanics" of delivering TeleRep's vast system offerings. They are responsible for maintaining and keeping current the technological infrastructure that is the "backbone" of TeleRep's Information Systems. With carefully chosen specialists in place from various technological disciplines, the Information Technology Support Group ensures that the framework behind TeleRep's day-to-day operations will continue to provide the company with uninterrupted access to critical data, communications & functionality.
